2. Safety Instructions
Keep the device away from children and unauthorized users.
FOR INDOOR USE ONLY. Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing or dripping liquids.
Never put objects filled with liquid on top of or close to the device.
Protected the device against extreme heat and dust.
DO NOT disassemble or open the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer to an authorized dealer
for service and/or spare parts.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual or by user modifications to the device is not covered by
the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems. All modifications of the
device are forbidden for safety reasons.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
• Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
3. Caution
• Always make sure the load on the adapter does not exceed the rated output current of the power supply (see table).
• Do not use this adapter with an appliance that requires more than 100W.
• For 12VDC car use only! Input voltage must be between 12VDC and 16VDC.
• Always start the car engine before plugging the adapter in the cigarette socket.
• Always switch the connected device off before disconnecting the adapter.
4. Use
• Use the switch on the front of the device to select 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22 or 24 VDC output, or use the USB port for a fixed
5VDC output. Make sure the connected device complies with the selected voltage, current and polarity!
• Determine the proper connector plug.
• The connector tip is positive. Insert the plug in
the jack (see drawing).
• Insert the other end of the plug in a suitable device
and plug the car plug into the cars socket. A green
LED indicates that the device is powered. Switch on
the appliance.
• When using the USB port, connect the included
USB cable to the USB port of the adapter, and
insert a plug as described above. Note that the plugs for USB applications only fit in the jack of the USB cable. DO NOT
force!

5. Fuse
• The fuse is located inside the car plug. Simply unscrew the tip of the plug to release the fuse.
• Always replace the fuse with an identical rated fuse (12A).

or injury resulted from (incorrect) use of this device.
